Casey Bryan

Casey has been involved in the performing arts for more than 30 years as a dancer, dance instructor, arts administrator, and development professional. She earned her degree in Dance & Arts Management from Oklahoma City University where she studied the business aspects of the performing arts industry in addition to dance technique and performance. After graduating from OCU, Casey enjoyed a professional performing career in roles at Walt Disney World, Bruce Woods Dance Company, Midland Festival Ballet, and Denton Community Theatre among many others. Some of her proudest performance achievements include performing in the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime Shows featuring Destiny’s Child (2004) and Sheryl Crow (2005), performing as a corps de ballet member in a production of Giselle with Julie Kent (former principal at American Ballet Theatre) and Damian Woetzel (former principal at New York City Ballet), and Dance Captain and Ensemble member in a production of The Producers.

After retiring from performing in 2012, Casey moved to London to pursue her master’s degree in Cultural Policy & Management at City University London. During her course of study, she focused on development and fundraising for non-profit organizations, and her dissertation investigated the overall impact of arts integration in U.S. public schools. While in London, Casey had the opportunity to work as a Marketing & Development intern at Theatre Royal Stratford East, which sparked her interest and love for grant writing. Since graduating with her master’s in 2013, she has pursued a career in non-profit grant writing and has enjoyed working for and with non-profit organizations to make positive impacts in their communities. In August 2024, Casey took the leap and started her non-profit grant consulting business, Summit Grant Consulting, LLC, a dream she has been nurturing for several years. While equal parts nervous and excited about her new business venture, she is mostly excited to finally bring this vision to life and looking forward to helping non-profits achieve their grant fundraising goals.

Casey is thrilled and honored to serve on the inaugural board of directors for Rocky Mountain Rhythm as they embark on an exciting new journey as an organization! Time to find her tap shoes and dust off the cobwebs!
