A lifelong dancer, Alex trained at Carlsbad Dance Centre in San Diego and learned from tap masterminds Wendy Lemon Moore and Abbie Ginsberg. She has competed in every style from ballet to hip hop, as well as cheerleading, but tap has always been her first love because of its musicality. Alex comes from a family of musicians, and considers her musical instrument to be her taps! A writer and marketer who earned her master’s degree in journalism, Alex also has a special appreciation for dance as a storytelling medium. Alex feels incredibly lucky to perform with Rocky Mountain Rhythm and contribute to the growing tap community in Colorado.
