Mary Jo Lasky is from Thornton, Colorado, and is currently attending the University of Northern Colorado. She is studying Visual Studio Art with an emphasis in Painting, as well as three minors in Dance, Criminal Justice, and Chemistry; she is also pursuing a certificate in Criminal Investigation. Mary Jo grew up dancing at Denver Dance Starz for 14 years and has since continued her training at UNC under the direction of Monte Black and Kim Clay. At UNC, Mary Jo trains in a variety of styles including Jazz, Tap, Modern, Ballet, and Hip-Hop, and is also the secretary for the school organization Dance Alliance. Outside of school, she is teaching and choreographing at Loveland and Conservatory Dance as their primary tap teacher and guest choreographing at Denver Dance Starz. Mary Jo is so grateful and excited to continue her dancing and choreographing for Rocky Mountain Rhythm and is looking forward to the upcoming year!
