Elijah is a Colorado native who studied dance at a small studio in Bailey under Broadway alumni Brooke Burbach and Patricia Duggan, and musical theatre with Kerri Vickers and Karen Tobey at Colorado Children's Theatre. He joined Cleo Parker Robinson Dance after graduating high school and spent a summer training with American Ballet Theatre.

Over the years Elijah has worked with choreographers such as Terence Greene, Milton Myers, Christopher Huggins, Nejla Y. Yatkin, Erika Pujic, Barbara Duffy, Sam Webber, Michelle Dorrance, Chloe Arnold, and Claire Sheek.

He took a break from dance for a while to work behind the scenes at Colorado Ballet as second in charge of the costume shop, but since then has gone full force into performing in many regional theatres in shows such as "Cabaret", "Disney's Newsies!" and "A Chorus Line."

Elijah is currently the Rehearsal Director for Colorado's premiere professional tap dance company, Rocky Mountain Rhythm.​
